Communication
Over the many years of doing loans we have come to find out that the most important aspect to everyone throughout the loan process is communication. Without it the loan process breaks down, mistakes are made, all parties involved become extremely frustrated and ultimately can cause the loan to fall apart or get declined.
In order to avoid all of those issues my team and I contact all parties involved twice per week via phone, fax and email. That way everyone is on the same page and if there are any corrections to be made we catch them in advance. The home buying event is supposed to be a magical and exciting time but can also be stressful. We try and take the stress out by communicating and making the whole process much more pleasant for everyone involved.
Pricing
Pricing is also very important. If the payment is not right for the client no transaction takes place. West Coast Mortgage Group is considered a broker and banker allowing us to shop for the best rate possible but also using the muscle of the backing of the bank. With things changing so rapidly in this industry and going to continue to change we need to readily available to service our clients needs by having both options available. We also have a meet or beat policy. If someone gives you a quote in writing that is signed we’ll meet or beat the price.
Efficiency
If a loan doesn’t close on time all parties can get very upset and the loan transaction in some cases can be lost. We use the state of the art technology which connects everyone involved in the loan process so that we can all see where the loan is at. Because there is roughly 60 points of interest on a loan in order for it to make it from start to finish we need to make sure all parties involved are on the same page. We use technology for locking loans, submitting loans, underwriting loans, clearing conditions, communicating and funding loans. So as you can see technology is involved throughout the whole process and without the best we cannot meet our client’s needs to the highest standards!
